Bladder pain in the absence of a UTI

Reviewed by Dr Jonah Mink, April 21'20 sec read

It is possible to experience bladder pain without a UTI. Non-infective causes of bladder pain include bladder or kidney stones, painful bladder syndrome or interstitial cystitis.

It is important to discuss bladder pain with a healthcare professional so that the appropriate examinations and management options can be discussed.
